Terms of Use
1. About Tradroom
Tradroom is a private, invite-only platform for Irish traditional music education. Accounts are created by invitation from an organisation or independent tutor. By using Tradroom you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
Keep your password secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content;
- attempt to access data belonging to other organisations or students;
- probe, scan or disrupt the security or operation of the service;
- use the platform to contact people other than your legitimate one-level contacts.
4. Content you upload
You keep ownership of notation, recordings and other materials you upload. You grant Tradroom a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, host and serve that content to authorised users for the purpose of running the service — no sale, no third-party licensing, no advertising, and no use for AI training without your separate consent. Content is removed when you delete it or close your account, subject to short backup retention. Only upload material you have the right to share.
5. Children
Where a student is under 18, a parent/guardian must be linked to their account and manages consent for them. See our Privacy Policy.
6. Availability and disclaimer
We work to keep Tradroom available and secure but provide it “as is” without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
7. Termination
You or your organisation may close your account at any time. On closure we delete personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
