Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Tradroom (Gearóid Keane, trading as Tradroom, see who we are) keeps these to a minimum: today we set only strictly-necessary cookies, plus an optional analytics category you control.
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the app to work and cannot be switched off:
tradroom_session— keeps you signed in (your authentication session).tradroom_csrf_token— protects sign-in and forms against cross-site request forgery.tradroom_callback_url— remembers where to send you back to after you sign in.tradroom_passkey_challenge— a short-lived, one-time security challenge used only while you set up or sign in with a passkey.tradroom_cookie_consent— remembers your cookie choices on this page.
Preferences
Remembers a choice you made, so the app behaves the way you set it:
tradroom_language— the language you chose (English or Gaeilge).
Analytics (optional)
We would like to use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how Tradroom is used and improve it. No analytics cookies are set unless you allow them, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. Page addresses are stripped of any identifiers before being recorded, so no student or account data is shared. If enabled, we may use:
- Matomo — usage analytics (cookies such as
_pk_id/_pk_ses).

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will stop you being able to sign in.
